ACTIVE DIGITAL-TO-ANALOG CONVERSION — BUILT-IN CHIPSET

The UGREEN 20415 is an active converter — not a passive adapter. A built-in signal conversion chipset actively processes the DisplayPort digital signal and converts it to a VGA analog signal compatible with all standard VGA displays. Active conversion ensures stable, clean signal output at full resolution without the signal degradation, flicker, or incompatibility that passive passive adaptors produce with certain DisplayPort sources. The chipset is bus-powered directly from the DisplayPort interface — no external USB power cable or adapter required.

ONE-WAY SIGNAL DIRECTION — DP SOURCE TO VGA DISPLAY ONLY

The UGREEN 20415 transfers signal in one direction only: from a DisplayPort output device (laptop, desktop, graphics card) to a VGA input display (monitor, projector, TV). It is not bidirectional — it cannot convert a VGA signal source to a DisplayPort display. Connect the DisplayPort male plug to your computer's DP port and connect a VGA cable (not included) from the VGA female port to your display.

The 20415 supports video output up to 1920×1200 (WUXGA) — exceeding standard Full HD 1920×1080 — across the full range of VGA-standard resolutions:
